Woolacombe bay holds the 'England for Excellence Gold Award' for best family holiday and continues achieve awards for its spectacular golden sandy beaches. Choose from one of our holiday cottages in Woolacombe and you wont be disappointed with its lively village offering great pubs, restaurants, places to visit and of course....Woolacombe beach.

Visitors of all ages will find plenty to keep themselves amused while are staying here. There's a friendly, laid-back atmosphere  which visitors are sure to enjoy. Self catering has become increasingly popular over the years with families looking for an escape from daily life and a holiday cottage in Woolacombe provides excitement, comfort and memories to treasure.

Woolacombe bay itself sits between the spectacular headland of Baggy point and Mortepoint in a steep valley that is truly special, most of the area here is owned by National Trust which is well maintained and picturesque. Historically Woolacombe was originally a fishing village and still has that "cottage charm". Morte Point offers beautiful walks over the headland and even the opportunity to see seals playing in the bay at certain times of the year. Woolacombe is close to Mortehoe a pretty little remote village around the headland and tucked away from the major tourist routes which is particularly popular for walking holidays and visitors that would prefer a quieter spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. Mortehoe village can be traced back to the Domesday book, In its former years it used to be the ideal spot for smugglers and its farming industry.
