We loved our stay at The Stables, the view out to sea was just incredible and a huge bonus as we were surfing so ideally located. Plenty of walks on the doorstep along the coast and close to Braunton and Georgeham with nice pubs in walking distance.

Really lovey house. We came as a group of colleagues for a weekend away and it was just perfect! So peaceful and the most beautiful views.

We had a great stay at the stables. It was clean, plenty of space. The management communicated quickly with an issue we had. Views were to die for.  It was a very pleasant stay. Thank you. Your management Vicki was helpful with the issue of the blind we had. Very prompt in replying

Clean and well presented.  Well equipped kitchen .Comfortable beds. Single bed rooms are quite small with less room but are okay for sharing family or children who can use larger room space.  Drive, steps and ramp to the cottage are quite steep which could cause problems for elderly or less able to walk .

Really enjoyable stay with friends over the weeeknd, great seaside location.

This is a lovely house in a fabulous position, the views were fantastic. Communicate was great, we were regularly updated and Vicki returned my messages promptly. We were a group of 7 and we all commented how well we all slept.

Great views, lovely grounds and very close to the village of Croyde being a short 10/15 minute walk.

We thought The Stables was a brilliant place to stay both in terms of the unbroken views of Croyde bay and the property itself. The sitting room felt very cosy and it felt like a dream to sit and watch the breakers roll in while sitting next to a wood fire. The kitchen was very well equipped and was a pleasure to prepare meals in. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all fitted out to a high spec. 

Loved the open-plan kitchen space, it was very sociable.  The outdoor seating areas were excellent :)

We stayed with our 2 young children and enjoyed waking up to the most incredible views followed by hours spent on the beach, which was an easy two minute walk down from the house…with a bonus cafe/kiosk serving breakfast, hot drinks and Sri Lankan curries! The village is a 15minute walk away; great for sheep and horse spotting! The kitchen at the house is fully equipped and we had everything we needed during our stay. Vicki the house manager was very responsive and helpful. We will be back soon I'm sure 

Stunning views, fantastic location with wonderful panoramic views over Croyde bay. Quick access to the beach and good accommodation for 8 people. Outside seating area has fabulous views. A lovely property. We all feel very privileged to have spent time in your lovely property. We would highly recommend a stay at The Stables.

My family and I had a wonderful time here. The house is in a perfect location overlooking the beach, with the coastal path across the road. Down End car park is one minute's walk away and has surfboard rental and lessons and a cafe which does some good evening takeaways.

Very well equipped especially the kitchen. Very clean. But most of all amazing views!

Stunning view of Croyde beach and great amenities in the property added to the enjoyment of the holiday.  The location of the Stables is brilliant and it was great to sit and look at the view or walk onto the beach. Hopefully the tranquil spot will remain that way for years to come! Any issues we had Vicki the property manager dealt with straight away.

What a place, simply beautiful. Offers a great feeling away from it all. Well equipped, relaxed, comfortable house. Very accessible, easy parking, ideal for the beach and walking. A view to die for! Rachel was really helpful in amending our original booking and got us out of a fix.

Fabulous place to stay modern but very homely spotlessly clean and the views are spectacular. Within very short walking distance to the beach and Croyde village- local pubs and cafes- so no need to keep getting in the car. Our host Vicki was very prompt in replying to our texts before arrival and during our stay which was very helpful. We had a very relaxing short break. Highly recommended.

A long held dream came true to stay in a lovely home overlooking Croyde Bay. It was well appointed even for the impromptu sunday roast, as myself and 6 girlfriends stayed over for a celebratory birthday weekend and could not ask for more. It may have been the first week in December but we enjoyed the walks, the beach, the wind and waves, and coming back to the log fire and a warm cosy home. It sounds as if we'll be back again and these ladies are not easily pleased :-) .....

Prompt attention to changes in booking, and easy to deal with.Property Manager also pleasant and quick to respond. A great place to stay for family or small groups wanting to be away from the crowds but with access to the beach.

The house and grounds are lovely. We stayed in November and felt very cosy whilst enjoying the views across the bay with stormy weather. Would definitely recommend a stay at this fabulous house

Beautiful location, wonderful views, comfortable cottage.

Walk down the hill and get in the surf, walk back up get in the shower, open a cold beer and look out the window at the ocean, beach, waves and sunset. Walk down the road to the Champions League at The Manor Inn. Ive heard good things about the Stores, and ive always liked The Thatch.
