Perrymans Cottage is a charming quaint thatched cottage in an attractive rural setting just a short drive from the coast in the heart of the pretty village of Georgeham. Designed with family life firmly in mind, this home from home property offers something for everyone whether inside or out. Children will enjoy exploring on the large wooden climbing frame, whilst parents enjoy al fresco dining surrounded by an traditional English country-styled garden.
Once inside this thatched chocolate boxed cottage you will be welcomed by the effortless flow between the period characteristics and modern contemporary décor. The beautiful stone whitewashed walls, latched doors, log burner and ceiling beams all mix timelessly with the shabby chic design and use of space from this well presented cottage.
PROPERTY
Sun room with boot / coat storage and seating area looking out over the country-styled garden.
Living room provides comfortable seating with a log burner and flat screen Freeview TV Features include; DVD player, selection of books, DVDS, iPod dock and DAB Radio.
Dining room features a large wooden table with ample seating for 6 and 2 wooden high chairs.
A cosy snug room with board games, books, the perfect quiet room for some 'ME' time.
Kitchen/breakfast room is well equipped for an extended family and offers; a large Gas Range cooker,, dishwasher, toaster, rice cooker, blender/smoothie maker, larder fridge and washing machine. Nestled to the side is a small dining table and chairs. The separate utility room houses an under counter freezer, tumble dryer and secure storage for bikes/surfboards.
Ground floor white bathroom suite with bath and a hand held shower, washbasin, mirrored vanity unit, heated towel rail and W.C.
1ST FLOOR
- Master Bedroom - king sized bed with bedside tables, built in wardrobes and a pretty view over the garden.
- Bedroom Two - Double bed with built in wardrobe storage and views overlooking the garden.
- Bedroom Three - Twin beds (Double on request) two bedside tables and walk in wardrobe.
Family bathroom comprising of white suite with double shower unit, W.C, washbasin, heated towel rail and storage.
OUTSIDE SPACE
Large country themed garden that wraps around the rear of the property with plenty of outdoor space including a summer house brimming with children's games and a wooden climbing frame with slide. For the adults there is ample outdoor seating, a coal BBQ, surf board and bike storage and outdoor hose/washing facilities.
Parking in the garage (Small/medium sized vehicles) (30m down the road) or on the lane outside the house, additionally there is village hall parking nearby and Georgeham village car park available free of charge.

Having lived in the area a few years ago - we knew of the house. A perfect get away and so well placed in the village. Georgeham with the shop/post office and two pubs is a perfect choice. Perryman's cottage itself is delightful and characterful. We will be back ! Thank you

Absolutely Beautiful cottage in a lovely location!
Comes with a pass to the beach which is amazing for the kids and surfing. Super comfy beds and linen, the parking just down the road is covered which is great and the cottage has a huge garden, great showers, pressure and general amenities where of a high standard and the whole feel is very cosy. We are all tall in my family and the first day there where a few bumped heads as it's quite low but it's a beautiful place to stay. My only negative is check in is late at 5pm and check out is crazy early at 9:30 am. You feel like you loose a whole day because of those timmings.

We had a delightful holiday, a get-together with our children and grandchildren. The cottage and the spacious garden delighted us all and we had many happy morning and evenings playing indoors and outside. Oskar even fed the white rabbit with grapes.
The cottage is well equipped and the kitchen lacked nothing. All the beds were comfortable and with two good bathrooms there was no waiting around. We all had plenty of space and found the cottage cozy and full of character.
The kitchen was the best we have experienced. We had plenty of cutlery and crockery and we could actually think of nothing that was missing. The large hob was a bit slow when more than one ring was used. I have an induction hob myself and mine reacts very quickly.
We had a great time with superb weather. Thanks for everything.
A gorgeous thatched cottage very close to amazing beaches.
Perfect size garden for families with a dog, and garden furniture provided so we could sit outside in the sun enjoying the peaceful location. Good for those with elderly guests as there is a lovely downstairs bedroom, and downstairs bathroom - note however that bathroom doesn't have a separate shower. The master bedroom was very roomy and gorgeous, and upstairs bathroom small but glamorous with one of the best showers ever! Cottage is in a small village, which is served by a small shop and a few great pubs which do good food so very convenient to have that on your doorstep. Hard to find anything to complain about at all - the only thing I can think of is that there isn't parking directly outside, 1 car we parked in the garage about 100 yards down the street. However the village car park around the corner is free and always empty. So it really didn't bother us.

A lovely cottage with plenty of space for six. We'll equipped and we'll placed for the beach. The downstairs bedroom is small and not really suitable for two. Good place for children. Parking only available in village hall car park really

We really enjoyed our stay in a lovely house and garden. It was set up very well for families and great to be so near the beaches. It was very clean and well equipped too. We liked Georgeham with a good village shop and pubs within easy walking distance. |

Property in excellent location, it is a nice house and
full of character, well equipped for comfortable stay.
Few things to consider if appropriate for your
party:
- ceilings and doorways are very low in areas
- suggest park in the town hall as parking on the road not
appropriate and in the garage best once unloaded and for a smaller
vehicle

Perrymans Cottage was perfect place to stay for exploring North Devon. The cottage is the best equipped holiday home we have stayed in. All essentials provided including children's toys, books and outdoor equipment. Beds are really comfortable and plenty of hot water. This is a gem of a place to stay. Couldn't ask for more.

Perrymans Cottage is a beautiful, picture postcard home in the centre of one of the loveliest villages in North Devon. For location and character this holiday home is second to none. The owners have styled and equipped their home with great thoughtfulness which only adds to the quality of stay enjoyed by guests. We have stayed in other premium accommodation in this area and Perrymans certainly holds its own for style and comfort. Would certainly consider using again.

What an utterly delightful place to stay! The cottage is beautiful and, even better, the garden. Everything has been thought of and is perfect for families with children. We could happily spend whole days there without venturing out, but the cottage is also ideally located for amazing beaches. We would definitely stay again!
