Christmas in Croyde has been a
popular hot spot for families and friends to gether together and
spend quality time together at this wonderful time of the year.
Croyde gives a traditional chocolate box Christmas with older
thatched properties covered in twinkly Christmas lights and the
crispness of the beach on Christmas morning for many is a big
attraction.
This year 2020 will be a challenging
as we face a Covid Christmas, with families wishing to still gather
for Christmas but the worry of Covid for many is a big concern. We
are lucky to represent large holiday homes that have the space to
spread out and distance more when bubbling together this
Christmas. Streamways is a prime
example with two separate living rooms and a garden guest cabin,
perfect for the Grandparents!
We have been living with constant
changes and adaptions to the restrictions since March 2020, and
Christmas will be no different as the Government relax the rules
for families. There is increasing confusion on what the Christmas
restrictions are, lets break them down:
 |
|
- you can form an exclusive 'Christmas bubble' composed
of people from no more than three households.
- You should only travel to meet those in your Christmas
bubble and return home between the 23 and 27
December.
- you can only be in one Christmas bubble and cannot
change your Christmas bubble formation.
- you can travel between tiers and UK nations for the
purposes of meeting your Christmas bubble.
- if you form a Christmas bubble, you should not meet
socially with friends and family that you do not live with in your
home or garden unless they are part of your Christmas
bubble.
