LOCATION
Oysters is a modern terraced child friendly holiday cottage
located close within the heart of the friendly village of Braunton,
yet you will be within walking distance to all the shops,
restaurants and pubs the village has to offer, and also within
close driving distance to the golden sands of Saunton and the
famous surfing beach of Croyde Bay. Braunton on Devon's North coast
is thought to be the biggest village in England and offers one of
the largest sand dune systems- Braunton Burrows, it has even
been declared as Britain's first Unesco biosphere reserve. Saunton
Sands is a few minute drive at the northern edge of the sand dune
system. It is the start of a three mile stretch of fine golden
sands, that stretch southwards between the sea and the Braunton
Burrows towards Appledore and Bideford.
At the northern end of Saunton Sands is a car park with a small
shop, café and toilets. The beach is a very popular surfing
centre
Oysters is an airy, light and spacious terrace property which any
family will feel right at home upon arrival. The downstairs of this
home benefits from under floor heating and a modern neutral
decor.
PROPERTY
Upon arrival this property leads into a tiled entrance
hall with under stairs storage. Leading off the hall is a
private cloakroom with WC, stairwell, lounge and
kitchen.
Entering through into the lounge, this space has 2 large leather
sofas, carved wooden coffee table, a large storage unit, DVD player
with selection of DVD's, a 37 inch LCD TV with a basic sky package
for your entertainment and patio French doors leading out into the
private garden creating a great child friendly holiday to sit back
and watch the children play.
The kitchen/ diner offers contemporary cooking space with
fitted cream cupboards, green tinted splash backs and a modern
worktop. The kitchen has plenty of cutlery, utensils, pots and pans
as you would expect from a property of this high standard. Built in
gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine
and even a dishwasher to make your stay stress free! The dinning
area in the kitchen easily seats 6 people.
1ST FLOOR
Master bedroom has a high quality luxurious feel with a
king-size wooden sleigh bed, a fitted wardrobe, bed side tables,
lamps. chest of drawers, decorated with a white and brown colour
scheme, This master bedroom also benefits from a private en-suite
shower room, toilet and washbasin.
Bedroom two has twin beds that can be converted into a double
(upon request) with a chest of drawers.
Bedroom three has one set of pine bunk beds with a chest of
drawers.
The spacious family bathroom is a modern suite with chrome
fittings, including a bath with shower over, WC, washbasin, mirror
and shaver point. Oysters offers a private dedicated parking space
for one car and off road parking for an additional car.
OUTSIDE SPACE
The outside space at Oysters is a pretty sunny south facing
courtyard garden with table and chairs for 6 people.
Surrounded by colourful plants and vines making it a lovely setting
for an evening BBQ at the end of the day. The unique decked seating
area is a lovely place to unwind after a day out.
